Not sure what's happening with me on this one, but it seems like the more I listen to it, the best Golden Road gets. Golden Road simply stated is one of Keith Urban's best Cds to date.
Golden Road nothing else but grabs your concentration right from the very beginning with Somebody Like You and doesn't let go until the very last note of the very last song You're Not My God, which by the way is other great track.
These days it's a very rare Cd on which every singular song is good or best than the one before it. This Cd is nothing else but one of those rare Cds.
Another reviewer echoed my own sentiments when he wrote, "Considering that Keith Urban grew up in New Zealand and cultivates an image that's more Kelly Clarkson than Roy Clark, one might be tempted to doubt his abilities when it comes to Nashville hit making. On Golden Road, however, Urban delivers a solid set of contemporary country with more panache and chops than many of his American-born, cowboy-hatted contemporaries."
Overall Golden Road is excellent from beginning to end. One of those Cds that after a few listens the songs are just etched into your memory. A must have for the Country fan. nothing else but spectacular from beginning to end.
While the whole Cd is excellent some of my favorites are track 2 - Who Wouldn't Want To Be Me, track 5 - You'll Think Of Me, and track 10 - Song For Dad
My SmoothLee Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On Repeat"] is track 7 - You Look Good In My Shirt. Good stuff!

Some habitancy even equate it with harmony itself. However, in the strictest musical sense, these are two very distinct things with very distinct purposes. If you want to learn what the dissimilarity in the middle of melody and harmony is, then read on for a basic introduction to two of the most prominent elements of music theory.
Differentiation
A melody is basically the one which dominates the whole musical phrases or sections of a song, while the harmony of a song is the one that's used to complement the melody. Think of it this way: A melody is like your tee-shirt, and the harmony is the print, design, and colors of your shirt. However, this doesn't mean that a plain melody without the harmony is boring in itself. Just think of how many shirts are ruined because of bad designs and colors. This means that a melody can be pleasant with or without a harmony. On the other hand, harmony is used to enhance the ensue of a musical phrase/section. Think of how many good shirts look even best because of their cool print designs.
Melody: The Basics
To additional understand what the technical differences are in the middle of a melody and a harmony, you have to understand what each one is first. As cited in the previous paragraph, a melody is the main series of notes that basically stand out. For example: the melody of a Happy Birthday song is easily recognizable. Its melody is plainly the one that you sing (the lyrics). To choose someone else example (and to be a bit more technical), fantasize a song in the key of C in a 4/4 measure. Harmony: The Basics
A song can still sound gorgeous even without a harmony. However, if you easily want to enhance the ensue of single sections of a song, then your best selection is to use harmonies. Harmony is basically the complementary notes that you hear alongside the melody. Think of an A Cappella group of four habitancy wherein they sing in distinct pitches (soprano, alto, tenor, or bass). Or, think of a high-pitched voice of a woman, and a lower-pitched voice of a man. fantasize both of them singing a song and complementing each other's vocal parts. Counterpoint
Though it's basically defined a small differently, counterpoint is easily related to harmony. all the time remember that the most tasteless starting note to use as a harmony is its contrapuntal notes of 3rds and 5ths. There are other counterpoint species you can use, but these are the most basic. On a guitar, when you see the chord C9, that means that you must add a 9th-note (or 2nd-note) to emphasize a harmony or counterpoint within that section of the song. The harmonizing 9th-note is the same as the 2nd-note, by the way (key of C, with a contrapuntal D-note on the C-chord).
To sum it all up in basic terms, a harmony defines a melody. But a harmony, by itself, becomes a melody.
